After, well I hesitate to call it dinner but I guess it was our evening meal in the strictest sense, we wandered west towards the setting sun.
We walked past the Rockefeller Centre and looked up.
Yep, we were up there.
All around the Rockefeller block were wonderful Art Deco details, like this tree surround.
Statues.
And murals.
We walked past the NBC experience store which had a large ball of lights inside and was displaying messages about the various TV shows.
And lollipops too.
Chrisites was opposite the NBC store.
With some interesting art in the window. I'm guessing it's a strange tribute to the Twin Towers.
This is the Rockefeller Extension.
We found that we had wandered out next to Radio City Music Hall.
As we walked towards Time Square, we found a Magnolia Bakery on the corner of the Rockefeller Centre.
They were still very busy, even at quarter past nine at night.
This is one of the roads leading down to Times Square.
We finally spotted Times Square in the distance and realised that we were actually 5 blocks from it.
Since we were both tired and foot sore we walked away from Times Square and back to the Time Warner building.
And went home.
We did make it back to Times Square, but that's for another day. ;)
