New York - Day Three, the next bit.

After lunch and seeing the macaroons, we wandered the streets just looking and exploring. It was very hot and we found lots of seats in the shade to sit and have a rest and contemplate.

We spotted this gentleman washing his windows from his fire escape.

A couple of ladies having a chat outside a fashion house.

We wandered into a church for a look.

Louise spotted this restaurant that seemed to be full of glass.

We found the entrance and peered in, and they had some wonderful pieces of crystal on the tables and along the bar.

There was an antiques store just down the road.

We wandered around and found ourselves outside one of the places that we wanted to visit called Ceci Cela. It's a cake shop if you can't tell.

We then wandered back to Washington Square park and found a cheeky squirrel who was just hanging around trying to cool off.

And an exhausted shopper lying on the grass.

There were a lot of people in the park

And a band playing some cool jazz.

And this guy busking, obviously playing this ladies favourite song.

He was set up, right in the middle of the arch.

A couple of ballet girls checking their photo of the busker.

Napolean was on the column.

We walked up Fifth ave to another place on our map called Eataly. Someone got a little excited about the place.

And took lots and lots of photos of the fruit and vegetables.

And mushrooms.

And baby purple artichokes.

And of course the meats and cheeses section.

Which was fairly expensive.

And more meat.

They were making mozzarella.

Lots of people enjoying the food.

And there were rows and rows of yummy cakes.

I finally managed to drag leave Eataly and we wandered north and found this cute little hotel down a side street.
