1111

If I've judged it right this is post number 1111. I meant to do this at post number 1000 but I was busy out at site and didn't noticed that I'd passed it.

Anyway, it all started with this post, when I landed and it has provided a  wonderful chronicle of what I've been up to and the things that I've seen while I've been here.

So, I hope you've enjoyed it and I hope you keep reading ... ;)

Sencha tea

I tried some sencha tea that Luigi at work brought back from Japan and gave to me.

I looked up google to find the correct water temperature and it directed me to this website. The best temperature seemed to be 70 degrees C, so I got out my thermometer and boiled my water to that temperature and let it steep for the prescribed 60 seconds.

The result was a very interesting cup of tea. It was a little bit hay and grass but there was also a creaminess and slight hint of mushroom, which is not surprising considering that sencha tea are meant to be high in umami.

And the view wasn't bad either.

Airline food.

Again.

Not too bad, better than the food from America.
Salmon and potato salad. Braised lamb with veges. Cheese and biscuit
and a lemon cheesecake thing.
