New Years eve dessert

Christmas lunch

Prawn cocktail for entree. Turkey and ducken*, with veges and more punch.

*turkey tenderloin and turkey mince, inside a boneless chicken then wrapped in stuffing and duck on the outside.

Dessert

And dessert was a horrible strawberry ice cream cake with pistachio meringue. The top layer is strawberry sorbet with moscato and the bottom layer is strawberry ice cream with rubis liqueur.

Christmas Eve dinner.

This is the best crayfish that I have eaten. It was caught yesterday, cooked last night and eaten today !! Prawns, Caesar salad and potato salad as well. Fruit punch and some nice bubbles to complement it.

Scrambled eggs with sausage, rosemary potatoes and fried tomato. The
potatoes were great and the rest pretty good.

On the plane. Beef burgandy with mashed potatoes and peas and carrots.
It was quite good.

Bike ride.

I went on a long cold bike ride to Corte Madera to meet John after his work and then ride to Tony's for pizza. I saw Santas getting off the train.

Took a great photo of the Golden Gate bridge shrouded in fog. (The vertical lines from the lights are an artifact of the camera.)

And saw buildings outlined.

iPhone lenses

I was lucky enough to be given a set of lenses for my iPhone for Christmas. Thanks Marie and Philip !!

The lenses are a 2X telephoto, a 0.68X Wide and macro and a ultra wide fisheye.

First up, the macro lens.

I was a little worried when I got the package as it came with this sticker on it.

And this little guy was inside.

He's kinda cute, looks like he's smiling.

Here are the telephoto and the wide/macro lenses, they all came with lens caps and a magnetic base attachment with a strap. The lenses have circular magnets in the base and attach to a circular metal ring stuck on the phone.

Expect lots more funky photos with these lenses in the future.

 I didn't read the ingredients list closely enough and was expecting taco shells, but it was still very good. ;)
