Rome Day one
Photos from day one of Rome.
The first 10 are the flat and the building it was in, the rest are the surrounding area. The bridge section at photo number 70 is the oldest Roman bridge, the Pons Aemilius, constructed in 142 BC.

Renovations update
Out the front is now totally ripped up. The concrete floor is gone as well as the walls around the arches. The balcony now has scaffolding in front of it and the view is blocked. :(
